Why Choose Akoya Spa?
Located in Viceroy Bali in a separate stunning art deco inspired building, Akoya Spa offers a tranquil setting perfect for pursuing health and well-being. Our treatments blend Western knowledge with traditional Balinese techniques and our therapists are trained by accredited spa maestros from Switzerland. You’ll find the indoor environment, which is carefully temperature controlled, a wonderful escape from the humidity of Bali.
How Do I Reserve a Treatment?
Call us on +62 361 971 777 or spa@viceroybali.com to reserve your treatment. A credit card is needed to confirm all bookings.
We also provide treatments in the privacy of Viceroy guest villas, with the exception of facials and hair treatments. Please inquire at reception about availability or to make a booking.
Can I Walk-In?
We accept walk-ins, but appointments are strongly recommended. You may experience a wait if you arrive without an appointment.
What’s the Policy for Group Bookings?
Groups of 4 or more require a non-refundable 50% deposit. Cancellations made at least 3 days before receive a credit valid for 6 months.
What Time Should I Arrive for My Appointment?
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment to enjoy our spa facilities. Late arrivals may reduce their treatment time.
What’s the Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations must be made 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a 100% charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the total amount.
If any other medical emergency causes a last-minute cancellation, we will review the case on a case-by-case basis to determine whether sufficient medical documentation is presented.
What’s the Spa Attire?
Swimwear is not allowed. Dress respectfully. We recommend removing jewellery for certain treatments. Robes, towels and slippers are provided.
What Treatments Do You Offer?
We offer a variety of massages, body scrubs, facials, hair treatments, manicures and pedicures. A list of our treatments can be found on the treatment page with descriptions and prices.
What is the Most Popular Treatment?
We offer a variety of excellent treatments, but highly recommend the classic Balinese Massage, which many comment is the best in Bali! Our super facial used Geneo technology offering a 3 in 1 treatment.
Can I Choose a Male or Female Therapist?
Yes, you can request a male or female therapists. Please advise in advance where possible to manage expectation.
Do I Need to Tell You About Any Health Conditions?
Please inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries during booking.
Can I choose the treatment room?
We have single and double treatment rooms available, which are allocated based on number of participants at booking.
Are Children Allowed at Akoya Spa?
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult during treatments. If they are not receiving treatment, they can wait in our lobby area with supervision. The spa is a quiet, relaxing space, with open area outside of the treatment rooms, so children cannot be left unattended.
Do You Welcome Male Guests?
Yes of course, including a dedicated masculine package featuring scrub, body mask, massage, relaxation bath and finishing with cleaning facial.
We also have couples packages with treatments held in our commodious double treatments complete with private bathtub.
Parking Availability
We have a spacious parking area available for our guests.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed inside the spa.
What Payment Methods are Accepted?
We accept cash and card payments.
Lost and Found Policy
We are not responsible for lost belongings. Please request a locker key from reception.
Prices & Taxes
All prices exclude applicable tax and service charges. Prices may change at the management’s discretion.
Spa Etiquette
Please maintain a low voice to respect other guests’ privacy. Smoking is prohibited, and outside food and drinks are not allowed.
